Pretty diverse and sweet compilation from Norwegian/German (based in Cologne) label. Lots of diggy club tunes and groovy beats on this record. It all starts "above the rooftops of Berlin Neukölln" with Kopfklang (and seems like Berlin's been the place to be, in terms of recent Norwegian artists' migrating). Very calm ambience and sampling from R F Richarts. Some very Kings of Convenience-y lo-fi harmonies from Turkish Aytac Fener. Other highlights Elly Higginbottom, catchy dance moves from Perfume Uniform, and Silent Enjoyment– but things do get a little hazy at the end... Regardless, check it out. Disco's not dead.
