Sometimes we come across talent that's hard to pass up. Maria Louceiro's live photography and delicate, lush aesthetic really made a lasting impression on us. When she got in touch with us about future collaborations with BS, we thought first, a formal introduction was appropriate.

Born in Porto, Portugal, Maria studied Mining and Geo-environmental Engineering– and soon found a love for drawing and photographing the mines themselves, then actually working in them. Many of her shoots coincide with the Porto promoters at Amplificason- who put on everything from Rock-A-Rolla magazine releases to big avant-garde/noise festivals.
"Lately I have been listening to Cloudkicker, and found a great band called Marché La Void. Besides that, I'm listening to Bark Psychosis, and RA, to which I did photography and artwork. Oh and yesterday, I went to the Alcest+ Les Discrets+Soror Dolorosa concert (photos of that to come!)."
